Sarawak Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2025

Organised by the Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Investment Sarawak in association with Sarawak Chamber of Commerce & Industry and EY, this prestigious Awards Program ("EOYS") was first launched in 2004 and is held annually to honour and acknowledge exceptional entrepreneurial talent and leadership. Up to last year, over 80 entrepreneurs from all over Sarawak have been given this recognition.

The Late YB Senator Datuk Mutang Tagal visited Binary University, Kuala Lumpur to secure scholarships for Orang Ulu students

On 10th May, 2022, a few members of the Supreme Council, led by the former President, late YB Senator Datuk Mutang Tagal, visited Binary University in KL on 10th May 2022. This was pursuant to a Memorandum of Understanding signed by between the University and the Chamber. The Chairman of the University, Tan Sri Professor Jayakumar and their Vice chancellor, Professor Sulo and other members of University faculty gave us a warm welcome and brought us on a tour of the campus.  Education & Training for Orang Ulu Youths Following our meeting, the university made available 500 seats for Sarawak students. 100 partial scholarships were also made available. Aside from that, the University also encouraged our Orange Ulu young entrepreneurs to participate in their “U2 CAN BE AN ENTREPRENEUR” Program, a 2-month course costing RM9,000.
